Where Do I Start?
Sure you’re not a first adapter but if you’re interested in getting more techy you’ve got to find out more about the world of gadgets than Direct TV and the iPhone. Here are a few easy ways to spice up your tech life
Read some blogs – TechCrunch and Gawker are great places to look for emerging technology news and startups. At the very least you’ll probably learn about some industries you didn’t even know existed and find out what you want to ask for for Christmas.
Buy an iPad – Nothing’s going to make you feel more tech savvy than carting around an iPad. Everyone’s got one nowadays and you’ll get used to the touch screen technology that everything’s going towards.
Learn to Skype – If you haven’t before you should. Get someone from your family or office on the other end of a web camera and finally realize how far technology has come. You’ll figure out new ways to communicate and probably get encouraged to explore other technologies while you’re at it.
